There are 3 Master numbers and they are 11, 22 and 33. These are Master numbers not because they consist of double digit of the same single digits. For the same reason 44, 55, 66 are not Master numbers (This stand is debatable). As such simply repeating any single digit number twice does not make a Master number.
The 44, 55, 66 and so forth have what could be called a “focused and charged energy” compared to, for example, the numbers 45, 56, 67, but they are NOT Master numbers.
To further clarify the meaning of Master numbers, here is an excerpt from the book, “Numerology; Key To Your Inner Self.”
There are 3 double-digit numbers that, while they are rooted in the single-digit numbers, require special emphasis and attention. These are 11, 22 and 33.
They are called Master numbers because they possess more potential than other numbers. They are highly charged, difficult to handle and require time, maturity and great effort to integrate into one’s personality.
Master number 11- What does Master number 11 mean?
It is the psychic’s number and the most intuitive of all numbers. The 11 represents the following which are illumination, a path to the subconscious, insight without logic, and also sensitivity, nervous energy, shyness and impracticality.
The 11 is also a dreamer. It has all the aspects of the duality, enhanced and charged with charisma, leadership and inspiration. It is a number with inborn duality, which creates both inner conflict and dynamism. The danger of 11 to self is that when not focused on some goal beyond itself, it can create fears and pressure.
As such, 11 walks on a fine thread on the edge with one side greatness and the other self-destruction. Its potential for greatness lies in intuition, acceptance understanding, and of spiritual truths. For the 11, logic can’t be dependent to find peace but in faith.
Master number 22 – What does Master number 22 mean?
It is often called “the Master Builder” and is the most powerful of all numbers. The 22, being a pragmatic number can often turn dreams into reality, making it potentially the most successful of all numbers.
It has many of the inspirational insights of the 11, combined with the practicality and methodical nature of the 4. It is unlimited, yet disciplined. They have big ideas, great plans, idealism, leadership and enormous self-confidence. However they can waste their potential if such grandiose plans turns out to be impractical.
Like the 11, the 22 can easily retreat to interior self from its own ambition and causing pressures on themselves. They are likely to go through such pressure experience particularly at an early age.
If they can ease up on themselves and work toward the realization of goals that are larger than personal ambition then they can serve the world in an effective and practical way.
Master number 33 – What does Master number 33 mean?
The 33 is “the Master Teacher.” 33 and is the most influential of all numbers. The 33 combines the 11 and the 22 and the result is, this brings the 33 potential to a different level.
What makes the 33 highly impressive is their great sincere devotion to seek understanding and wisdom before preaching to others. Thus when expressed to the fullest, the 33 which lacks all personal ambition will instead focuses its considerable abilities toward the spiritual uplifting of mankind.
Master number 33 is only significant if it’s one of your Core numbers — Life Path, Heart’s Desire, Personal Expression, Personality or Maturity numbers. Otherwise, the 33 should be reduced to a 6.
